About Us and Our Choices
We love Rhodes
and have visited many times. Our favourite area is Rhodes Town (Rodos) itself where we have generally stayed. However
our visits often include trips to Lindos and other parts of the beautiful island. Not forgetting the boat trips to Symi.
So when we had the opportunity to purchase a Villa, we chose the East Coast for it's beauty and beaches.
However, the West Coast is easily accessible across the island.
Afandou is situated a reasonably
short drive away from Rhodes Town to make it very accessible for regular day trips. We did not want to be any further south
than here. Villa Thea is half way between Rhodes and Lindos.
We like eating out and enjoy going down to nearby Kolymbia, a 20 minute stroll.
A little further the other way a short drive takes you to Afandou village. Taxis are available in Kolymbia and in Afandou
right next to the square.
Equally a pleasant evening can be had, with bar-b-que and a bottle of wine
around the lighted pool and is well recommended by our guests.
The
Villa is a new build off plan in 2008, part of a small development which is now all finished. Our completion was
in the summer of 2008, and we were all ready for the first guests in August 2008.
We
are continually updating the information and photos so that the latest can be seen. The facilities on offer are of first
class quality befitting such a lovely holiday home.
