Local resort hotels, shops,
bars and restaurants can be found in Kolympia.
Similarly in Afandou, the village square is particularly attractive where you can sit, eat, chill out and watch
the world go by.
There are supermarkets
and petrol stations on the main road.

Afandou beach is 800 m away and stretches for approx 3 km.
with beach facilities of sun beds, umbrellas and snack bars are available at intervals. The sparkling clean crystal
clear water is ideal for swimming and snorkelling. We recommend a short drive to the
center of the beach where there is a smal childrens play area and refreshments.
At the northern end is
the only Golf Course on the island

At the southern end of the beach is Kolympia with its hotels, 2 beaches and water activities.
There are many other beaches
on this sheltered east coast., in particular at Anthony Quin bay or Tsambika.
Lively Faliraki with a full range of water sports is only 8 km away. Gone are the days in which this area
a name for questionable youthful behaviour. The Greek authorities clamped down on anything which brought it a bad
name and now it is a great place to enjoy the beach and all the activities.
